Do Not Treat Yourself as an Afterthought

It’s okay to say “no” to people.

It’s okay to take a few days, weeks, or months away.

It’s okay to heal in silence and solitude.

It’s okay to take your time.

It’s okay to focus on yourself.

It’s okay to change your mind.

It’s okay to cancel a friend last minute.

It’s okay to ask for some space.

It’s okay to not reply to that person who’s bringing you down.

It’s okay to not always post on social media.

It’s okay to have some “me” time.

It’s okay to ask for help.

It’s okay to let go of the feeling of obligation to respond to everyone who emails/texts/calls you.

And it’s more than okay to put yourself, your health, and your wellbeing first. 🌟
