Trusting in the Unknown

Something I get asked so often is, how do I trust so blindly in my journey and in knowing I will get better?

My answer is always, because I choose to.

I choose to trust.

I choose to put my complete faith in the unknown.

I choose to believe that in order to bloom, you need to be planted first.

I choose to remember that good things always take time.

I choose to have absolute confidence that one day all this effort I’m putting into getting better will eventually pay off.

I know it can be so scary to do this; to reach out and trust in something when you have nothing to grasp or hold on to.

But I’ve noticed in the past that when I’ve allowed myself to trust in the journey’s I cannot yet foresee, they have often ended up being the exact paths I needed to take✨.

The flip side of all of this is not trusting.

Not trusting that things will get better.

Not trusting that everything will work out.

And feeling like that really sucks, and I really don’t want to feel like that!

So the choice is yours.

You can either doubt everything that is happening to you,

or you can give yourself permission to trust in all the things you cannot yet see 🌱

  1. Thanks Evie, I am housebound with severe M.E, sick 2.5 years. I have three children. I showed your photo and blog to my 10 year old daughter, she thought you were inspirational and very beautiful. I have just read your recent post and I loved it. I look forward to reading the rest of your blog. Eimear
